“I am the Vice President of Housing and Production for a small homebuilder in Illinois, Kennedy Signature Homes.  At one time in the industry, we closed over 700 production level homes per year at a pace of 3 starts/closings per day.  During that period, we were expanding our product lines and discovered a small architecture firm that had tremendous vision and an eagerness to work hard and grow as we grew.  We contracted Goduco Design Group to design and draw a new housing concept of expandable housing product for future markets that we anticipated emerging.  Unfortunately, as the market collapsed, so did our need for this product line which had been completed, but never implemented into our production schedule.  That was over 10 years ago.

When the “smoke had cleared and the dust had settled” and we were ready to re-enter the new construction housing market once again, the first trade partner who we considered to help us navigate the “new frontier” of real estate in Illinois and Wisconsin, was Goduco Design Group.  By this time, principal architect Luis Goduco, had teamed up with his son Michael and instantly we felt the same drive and passion for their craft that we had experienced a decade earlier.  Goduco Design helped us design and edit our building plans with a constant eye toward aesthetic and sensibility.  Their elevations were both appropriate for our market, yet thoughtful toward the consumers’ wishes and municipal restrictions.  The interior plans were creative, yet highly functional and adaptable to the widened variety of buyers that we were now dealing with.

Goduco Design Group was the primary architectural and design resource that we used in our most recent project in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin where we are thrilled to report sales figures that exceeded our anticipated pace by over 25% and pricing that has increased by an astounding rate of 90% over 24 months.  These figures stand as a testament to how versatile and expertly designed our product was.  Through their countless efforts, we maintained our production schedule on time and on budget.  Luis and Michael’s cooperation and efforts have been witnessed through their support in our interactions with customers, plan reviewers, inspectors, and trades.  The Goduco team has always performed to, and most times exceeded, our expectations.”
